Our History
Myatt’s Fields Park has always been a special place in Camberwell—a Victorian gem where locals come to escape the city. For us, it has always been the heart of the neighborhood. In 2015, as a local family who loves this park, we were thrilled to take over the café and start a new chapter.
Our vision was simple: to pour our love for this community into a space where everyone feels welcome. We didn’t just want to run a business; we wanted to create a place that felt like an extension of our own kitchen. Since then, we have been working hard to make this a warm, bustling hub where neighbors can connect, relax, and enjoy honest food.
About Our Name
If you are wondering about the name, The Little Cat Cafe is a tribute to the famous “Camberwell Cat” statues that sit on the rooftops of the Victorian houses surrounding the park. It is a nod to the unique history that makes our corner of London so special. (And while we don’t have live cats inside, we are always happy to see your dogs on the terrace!)

Our Philosophy & Purpose
For us, the perfect park day starts with a great cup of coffee. We know that for many of our neighbors, we are the first stop of the morning, and we take that responsibility seriously—pouring every flat white, rich hot chocolate, and fresh smoothie with care.

We aren’t trying to be a fancy restaurant; just a warm family kitchen serving the kind of comfort food that tastes best in the open air.
But really, the menu is just the excuse to gather. We are here for the morning dog walkers, the parents on the school run, and friends catching up on a sunny bench.
